For this hop, I was asked to feature the A Holy Holiday stamp set. I used the reindeer, berry (for the nose), large snowflake and two-part sentiment. The mini tag is from the Holly Jolly stamp set and the small snowflake is from the Just For You stamp set, both of which are also from this release.

The birch tree background was created with the Autumn Groves stamp set. The sky and hills were created with a combination of the Borders 1, Stitched and Quotables dies.

Thanks so much for stopping by today. Remember to check the Paper Smooches Blog on Monday to see if you are one of the lucky winners!!

{Mama Elephant} Designer Series: Watercolour Resist with Sentimental Borders + Video!

I'm on the Mama Elephant Blog today showcasing the Sentimental Borders stamp set. I stamped it with Versamark ink on an angle on watercolour cardstock die cut from Index Card Creative Cuts. After heat embossing it with a faded edge, I watercoloured over it with Gansai watercolour paints.

On the scalloped card base, which was die cut from Femme Frames Creative Cuts, I used the heart and triangle borders from Embellished Tag Creative Cuts to create my own stencil for embossing paste backgrounds. Femme Frames and Embellished Tag are also sold together in the Basic Set, along with Dainty Bow and Bold Banner.

I knew that the twin recipients of these cards were celebrating their third birthday with cupcakes so I added the yummy cupcakes and adorable animals from Carnival Cupcakes (+ Creative Cuts).

I embellished the embossing paste corners with gorgeous sequins from Pretty Pink Posh and Teresa Collins' Something Wonderful and Urban Market collections.

As I mentioned in my video, a large blue sequin fell off the boy's card before I photographed it. Then I didn't realize it 'til I gave the card away so I couldn't re-photograph it. Sigh. :)

Thanks so much for stopping by!
