{Paper Smooches} Oh No You Dit-ten

Kim is sharing this card on the Paper Smooches Blog today. It features several items from the May release which goes live at midnight EST tonight! The sentiment is from Slang Gang, the shoes are from Retail Therapy and the dog is from Woofers & Tweeters. The dog was die cut using the coordinating Woofers & Tweeters Dies. The hills and the chewed up shoes were created using dies from Borders 1 Dies. When I showed this card to my husband, it took him a few seconds to get it. He stared at it in silence and then finally gasped, "Oh no, bad dog!" LOL

Get your wallets ready. Heehee. :D

{Paper Smooches} Sending Hugs and Prayers

I put this card in the mail today to help a dear friend pay it forward to a lovely lady who had a stroke and is now in a rehabilitation centre. I hope it brings her a smile. I made it for a publication call but it wasn't accepted. This was the first time I had tried a freestyle collage card. I'm not exactly sure how to define the style but the idea was to just throw together a cluster of different shapes and textures. Maybe it's a little heavy but I love all the colours and prints together. What do you think? Have you given this style a try? I'm definitely going to give it another shot.

I hope you're all having a great week so far!

Today, I'm featuring the Think Fast stamp set. If you like food - hey, who doesn't - then this is definitely the set for you! The three sentiments are super fun and can be used for a variety of occasions from 'long time no see' to 'congrats'. I squealed big time when I saw this set but I do think the entire release is fantastic. You should prepare to spend! ;)

I've never done a video for the release hop but there's always a first time for everything. In the following video, I show you how I used masks and shadows to create the illusion of dimension on this one-layer card. I hope you'll give it a try and share what you make.

Thanks so much for stopping by today. Remember to check back here on Saturday to see if you are the lucky winner of the Think Fast stamp set!
